CauseConnect handled marketing, corporate sponsorships, and event production for Plaza de la Raza Cultural Center for the Arts & Education for a decade (2006-2016). For seven years, CauseConnect produced Target Feria de la Familia at Plaza. In addition, CauseConnect produced the first profitable benefit art auction in Plaza’s history, tripling art and ticket sales over five previous events and securing first-ever corporate sponsorships. At Plaza, CauseConnect helped plan and manage WONKA® WonkARTE workshops at community venues for Nestlé in conjunction with the launch of the film, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and its DVD release. For three years, CauseConnect handled marketing and promotion for Plaza’s Summer Nights concert series (2011-2013). The Noche Con Sabor Latino Gala with GRAMMY® award-winning Los Lobos performing live at Plaza de la Raza was produced by CauseConnect in 2005-2008 — proceeds supported after-school visual and performing arts programs designed to promote and share Mexican heritage. Last, CauseConnect organized annual student exhibitions in the Margo Albert Theatre Lobby and the Boathouse Gallery.
