Community Events for Real Estate Developers & Architects

Over the years, CauseConnect has produced groundbreaking events, ribbon-cutting and unveiling ceremonies, and community receptions for real estate developers, architectural firms, and construction companies to launch their major residential and mixed-use developments. Services have ranged from coordinating advance and day-of-event logistics to hiring all production entities — from caterers and servers to artists, photographers and videographers to parking companies and more — to handling invitations and participation of elected officials, community members, and the press, to documenting and promoting the event from start to finish. Because of CauseConnect’s expertise on projects in the performing and visual arts, these events often included live art productions, art installations, art exhibitions, and even art giveaways for attendees to support local artists and community art organizations.

An example of CauseConnect’s work in this area is the 5.6-acre development at 950 East Third Street now called The Aliso in the Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. Located next to the SCI-Arc campus across the street from Hauser & Wirth Los Angeles, an international art gallery, this apartment community opened in 2019 and features 472 units (including live/work spaces) plus 22,000 square feet of retail space. For this project, CauseConnect’s clients were the Brookfield Property Partners and Legendary Investors Group, along with their suppliers Milender White Construction, Kava Massih Architects, and Wells Fargo (the latter of which provided the construction financing). With spectacular skyline view of DTLA, three artists — Septerhed, ShadowMonsterBear, and Leba — were commissioned to create large-scale artworks live during the event.
