Melissa Richardson Banks of CauseConnect and Edgar Varela co-produced an art event to unveil a monumental public artwork for 500 guests on a secret rooftop location in Downtown Los Angeles The a two-story mural by the artist RISK was the featured artwork for the Shattered LA event, which also included live painting by other local artists, a gallery show by artist Gregory Siff, and music by KCRW’s Anthony Valadez and ethnomusicologist Marlon Fuentes. Custom #ShatteredLA #BreakTheIceLA apparel and limited-edition aluminum containers were also introduced by the event’s sponsor.
